Art & Design Unite in Fort Point.

Friday, November 18, 2011, 6:30-8:30pm

Space with a Soul - 281 Summer St. 7th floor, Boston, MA

Join Design Museum Boston along with co-host, Fort Point Arts Community (FPAC), for our next UNITE event on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 6:30pm at our new office at Space with a Soul. Meet the creative people that make Fort Point one of the largest artist communities in New England and learn about upcoming FPAC events and programs.

This past summer, Design Museum Boston, along with the City of Boston, Massachusetts College of Art & Design, and the Design Industry Group of Massachusetts (DIGMA) received a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to bring design related programming to the South Boston Waterfront. Museum founders Sam Aquillano and Derek Cascio will give a brief presentation on the goals of the grant program.

We’ll have snacks and Harpoon will be providing the drinks. There is limited street parking near Space with a Soul, but there are large paid lots very close ($13) on Congress St., or take the T to South Station and walk over the Summer St. bridge. See you there!
